Sebastian’s Every Day

My full name is Sebastian Michaelis, that was the name given by my master, Ciel Phantomhive. Serving him every day is part of our contract. I work with four more employees to do all the tasks in the mansion. He seems to attract troublemakers almost all the time, and I’m the one in charge to save him…
Every day, I wake Ciel with some tea and sometimes I bring him some cake or pie. He is a 12 year old boy but runs alone a big toy and candy company. For lunch and dinner, I always make some high class meal. In the afternoon, I serve tea and something sweet. I never repeat a meal.
I work with four more employees. They are: a chef that really doesn’t know how to cook; a gardener who is a too strong kid that breaks everything; a maid, who can’t really see right because of her glasses and another butler to take care of them. At the end, I’m the one to do all of that alone.
In a whole week, I rescue Ciel from at least one trouble. As he is just a kid, a really rich kid, he is a target for any kind of danger. That bothers me because I’m always losing time that I could be using to manage things - I’m saving a little boy that just can’t stay still in his mansion.
That’s my every day in this house. My life and my soul is in a 12 year old boys’ hand: I have to take care of the other employees (and make sure they don’t destroy the mansion) and rescue Ciel all the time. I don’t think anyone can handle this if they were in my place.

Brazilian Eye Contact

Brazil is a large country and has many costumes. People are different in different regions of Brazil and have different costumes. I chose a particular costume to write about - it's the eye contact. When someone talks with another person, this person needs to look in the eye to show that this person is honest. If you serve some person you don't look directly in the eye and the eyes are the soul's door.
In Brazil, when you talk with someone you need to have eye contact to show that you are honest. If you look to another place, people think that you're lying and you don't care about what the other person is talking to you and if you look in the eye you show you're a confident and stronger person.
If you serve someone you don't look directly in the eye. If you work as a maid, waiter or in the others services considered subordinated, normally there isn't eye contact, because in Brazil there is a lot of prejudice against poor people, the most of the time these people are associate as thieves.
Eye contact is the soul's door. Many people say when you look into someone's eyes, you look inside this person. You can see this person's feeling or fear. You see the truth about this person. In Brazil, many people are superstitious and judge someone when look in someone's eyes.

Eye contact is a Brazilian custom. When someone talks with another person, this person needs to look in the eye to show that this person is honest, if you serve some person you don't look directly in the eyes and the eyes is the soul's door. When you have a conversation with a Brazilian person try to look into the person's eyes and you show you're good person.

RICE AND BEANS

An important custom from my country is eating rice and beans. You cannot come to Brazil without eating rice and beans. To eat rice and beans in a daily basis is important because in this combination there is a correct amino acid balance, it is relatively cheap and easy to do.

First, rice and beans together have a perfect amino acid balance. These ingredients together are rich in two essential amino acids for the human body. These two amino acids are scarce in other vegetables alone, but rice and beans together have enough of these amino acids.

Second, this combination is relatively cheap. Rice and beans are cultivated in all Brazil so there are always in grocery stores at a low price. Therefore, everybody can buy and eat.

Third, rice and beans are easy to do. To do rice, just put rice, oil, salt and water in a pan and cook until dry. If it’s necessary add more water. To do beans, soak the beans in water during two hours, change the water, put it in a pressure cooker, add salt, oil, season with onions, garlic, bacon, pepper… close and cook.

In conclusion, an important custom for Brazilian people is eating rice and beans every day because there is a correct amino acid balance, it’s cheap and easy to do. If you like, you can add other increments, such as a sunny side up egg on top.

My Favorite Season

Fall is the best season of the year. The brown leaves of fall are very pretty. The temperature is perfect because you don’t wear a lot of clothes and it’s nice to see old friends. Fall is good because the colors are beautiful, the temperature is comfortable and it’s time to go back to school.
First of all, fall colors are beautiful. The leaves in the summer are green and in the fall they become brown. The colors of the brown leaves get mixed with the colors of the blue sky and the colors of the green grass. This mixture is very beautiful and it only happens in fall.
Another good point about fall is that the temperature is comfortable. The temperature in fall is not hot and not cold either. It is pleasant in fall. People don’t need to wear a lot of clothes and they also don’t need to wear very little. The day is warm but not too hot and the night is cool but not too cold. Fall is lovely!
Finally, fall is time to go back to school. Going back to school is very good because you can see your friends again and meet new people. That’s also good because you have to buy new material to start a new year, choose a new notebook or a new pencil. This is fun. Sometimes you have to study in a new school and meet new friends. Going back to school is very good.

In conclusion, fall is good because the colors are beautiful, the temperature is comfortable, and it’s time to go back to school. It’s not very hot as it was in summer and the scenario changed a lot. It’s very good to go back to school with nice temperature and with colorful leaves on the way.

Zoos are internment camps for animals and should be shut down

Zoos are internment camps for animals and should be shut down because it's like a prison. The animals eat the same food every day and they're taken away from their families.  Some people argue that zoos should not be shut down because it's fun to visit, they're being protected and we all can learn about the animals.
Sure zoos are a fun place, somewhere to go on vacation, in a boring weekend, or even for a school trip. However, for the animals it is like a prison. They don’t have a chance to discover the world, just keep going on circles all day, and see people all the time. It's awful! Imagine if you lived in those conditions for the rest of your life?
Another reason that people also think is that they're being protected. There is no chance for another animal to get into a fight and kill each other or for they to trip, fall, and die. In other words, zoos protect the species, even the ones in danger. However they eat the same junk every day and sometimes it's even in a bad condition. It is like eating crackers until you pass.
Finally, we learn about them! We discover their habitats, where they came from, their specie, how they live, etc. However, did you know, for that to happen, they have to be taken from their family, even if still a baby, to go to another country and live like a circus clown. They have to live in solitary, being forced to do what they don't want, being punished badly for small mistakes. Try to live like that.

In conclusion, zoos could be a fun place for people, but not for the animals because they live in a prison, get the same food every day and are being taken away from their families. Would you like to be a zoo animal and live in those conditions?

Writing Essay to Going to the Dentist

Writing essay is almost the same as going to the dentist. Going to the dentist must seem like a really bad thing, just like writing an essay. You first think it's boring but when you're done, you feel relief, just like the dentist, you end up with a pretty smile. Writing essay and going to the dentist is almost the same, because they both take time, finishing is a relief, and they both hurt.

Writing essay and going to the dentist might take up a long time. Like going to the dentist, you wait a minimum of twenty minutes just in line waiting for your turn, and when you get inside the room, it takes 40 minutes to get out. Writing essays can take even two hours, if it's an important essay, of course. First you have to plan, then to wright, then to correct it. See? Writing essays and going to the dentist might take a long time.

Writing essay and going to the dentist can be a relief when you're done. When you get to the dentist your thoughts are that it's going to be a bad thing. However when you finish, you feel relief that everything is done and that you have a pretty smile. Just like writing an essay, you feel relief that you've finished that piece of art that you spend so much time in it.

Writing essays and going to the dentist might be two things that hurt. When someone tells you to write an essay, you feel sad that you have to spend time on a paper when you could be doing something else more fun. The same thing happens with the dentist, when someone tells you to go to the dentist you think it's going to be really bad, because they are going to take your tooth out. One is a physical pain and one is a mental pain.

Writing essays and going to the dentist are two related things because they both take time, finishing is a relief, and they both hurt. It could be fun or boring depending on what the purpose is. Aren't you surprise how they're related?

Flying in panic

Humans feel safer with their feet on the ground. That’s why many people fear flying. Cars, buses and trains touch the ground. A plane does not. Everything seems to be worse and more dangerous when it happens far away from the ground.         Noises always seem to be a huge problem, rain seems to fall harder and even boring people seem to be more boring.

People fear flying because they know they are very far away from a safe ground. People who don’t know how a plane flies worry about flying because it seems to be a miracle. People who know how a plane works fear about any changes in climate and plane engines. Both kinds of people feel a great relief when the airplane touches the ground again. As if any problem in the ground would be easier to solve than in the air.
Flying when it is raining is the worst thing that could happen. When it is raining you cannot see how far away you are from the ground.  The clouds avoid you to have eye contact with the ground and this can make people feel safer. It is also important to remember that along with rain comes turbulence. Turbulence is when the plane shakes. On the ground it is not comfortable enough and in the air it couldn’t be scarier.  It seems that everything is worse far away from the ground.
To complete the flying tragedy, you just need to have a bothering person next to you. There are many kinds of people who bother. There are those ones who think they are the kings of flight. They need to explain everything that happens in the plane, the lights going on and off and the meaning of all the noises it makes. Along with them sometimes also come the desperate ones. When you don’t like to fly what you really don’t need is someone complaining about everything and praying and screaming in front of any minor changes in the flight.  Someone who doesn’t like flying should deserve the least amount of peace in the air until the plane gets in the ground and you feel safe again. Fear of flying is enough to worry.
For people who fear flying the worst things are to be far away from the ground, turbulence in the flight and to have your peace stolen by bothering passengers. When you are in a bad situation everything that goes out of plans seem to be worse. The worst is that, despite you wanting, to take days or weeks off to get somewhere far away from your home, you can’t avoid flying. So the best thing someone who fears flying can do is fight against their own instincts. If this combat gets really hard, take pills to sleep – and dream that you are already on the ground.

Working Later In The Day Is Better

Working later in the day is better than in the morning. Mornings are usually very busy and tiring. Afternoons are not. Working later in the day is better because people are not sleepy anymore, they think better after lunch and they don’t see time pass by.
People are not sleepy anymore when they work later in the day. They can sleep more when their night is longer and there is no need to wake up early. So one is able to rest more and not feel tired. People usually have more dispositions to work later in the day.
People think better after lunch. When people eat, they feel satisfied. People feel stronger after eating. Lunch meals are more energizing than others meals. When you have more energy, the brain works better and you work better.
When people work later in the day they don’t see the time pass by. In the afternoon there is no worry because many were made things in the morning. People don’t worry about others activities that were already accomplished. They feel free to work in the afternoon.
Working later in the day is better because people are not sleepy anymore, they think better after a good meal and they don’t feel the time pass by. Try to have a good night sleep and work later in the day and see you work improve.

Small Cities, Big Idea

Small Cities, Big Idea

Living in a small city is a big idea!  The word today is: improve lifestyle!. Moving to big cities and capitals could be an answer to find what the heart desires. However, it is in small cities where it is possible find the basic elements for a happy life.  Living in small cities has  greater advantages than living in big cities such as more space, more peace and a general better environment that boasts big innovative ideas.
Living in small cities allows for more space.  The lack of space in big cities is upsetting. Small cities are less inhabited therefore there is a place for everyone. There is no need to rush early in the morning to find a place to park your car or to wait in a line to be served in a favorite restaurant. Even though big cities are, as the word says, big, they are usually crowded with people, and shops. There is a competition for parking spots, doctor appointments and a place in line.
In addition to having plenty of space, small cities are known for being a place with a lot of peace. They are very different from big cities that are often noisy and stressful.  The world is too demanding nowadays. It is hard to find a place to breath, free of worries. Small cities offer all of that for free. The countryside is perfect to escape the pressure from living in a big city. That pressure is rarely present in small cities. Small cities are a place to look for and find the peace that is wished for.
At last but not least, living in small cities offers a better general environment that boats big ideas whereas in big cities there is a lot of pressure that inhibit  creativity. Many great minds where born on the countryside such as Friedrich Nietzsche and Carl Jung. It is in this lack of practical resources from small towns that great creativity emerges. The need to progress fosters thinking while in big cities this need does not exist, pruning minds. Small cities offer an environment suitable for thinking. Nature plays a big role inspiring human minds to come up with great ideas. Most of the inventions come from observing nature such as the airplane.
Living in small cities offer a  greater number of advantages than living in big cities such as more space, more peace and a better environment to foster creative thinking. Much of what is looked for in big cities is ready available in small cities. Why look so high and big when it is possible to have a great life in a small place? Living in small cities could be a great idea for those who want to escape the pressure of living in big cities and live big in style.

Snowmen Cycle

Snowmen Cycle

A snowman has a similar cycle just like a human being. Even though it is similar in many ways, it is also very different in other ways. It is similar because the snowman is born, lives and dies like people. His birth, life and death are in different ways because he’s born with ice, lives with nature objects, and dies with the sun. The life of a snowman has birth, life and death.
When snow comes, children decide to make snowmen. First, they usually make a large ball. Then, they make a medium ball and put it on the top of the large one. For the ending, they make a small ball to put on the top of the medium that is already on the top of the large one. Second, they put accessories, such as a carrot nose, a rock mouth, rock eyes, and buttons for his belly - made out of rock too! For the final touch they put a scarf and a hat, and two stick arms. ‘There are many types of snowmen: fat, skinny, big, small, happy and sad ones.
From the first second until the last one, he is stuck to the ground and smiles to everyone. He never changes his smile, no matter what happens. He does not have legs to move and his arms do not move either. However, he is always waiting for a hug since the first second he was made. Every time they are offering a hug, it is very tempting to hug them because it is hard to see them so lonely.
When summer comes, he gets so nervous that he heats up. He melts just like an ice scream but the difference is that he doesn’t have a flavor and he is full of accessories. That’s the only time he moves, losing his shape. We cannot recognize the patient and smiling snowman anymore.
The life of a snowman has birth, life, and death. When he is born, he can have many types of shape. He can even look upside down. In his life, he is very lonely but sometimes he has company of birds and other winter animals. When summer comes he think he will die but he just melts and goes back to where he was born waiting for the next cycle. Depending on when he is born, his life will be long or short. Next winter will bring many types of snowmen.
